Kallista lies on the south-eastern edge of Dandenong Ranges National Park and offers a picturesque natural setting with historic gardens and a fresh country atmosphere.

Kallista became well known to farms and alike by Botanist Daniel Bunce who was drawn from Melbourne by the image of the looming western slopes in 1839. The area is known for its combination of rainfall and rich volcanic soils making it the perfect setting for farmers. Potatoes, flowers, bulbs and berry fruits are just some of the products we see come from Kallista.

The township of Kallista is nestled within vast forests and fern gullies offering multiple attractions for tourism. Kallista Tea Rooms offers a great Brunch or Lunch location. The Tea rooms are located in a beautiful art deco inspired building; you can enjoy a traditional High Tea, Devonshire Tea, locally sourced produce, coffee and other organic cuisines.

Grants Picnic Ground is also a popular attraction. Famous for its bird feeding, visitors get to experience the spectacular Cockatoos, Rosellas and Parrots as they fly in to say 'Hello'. If you love to walk and appreciate nature, there are walking tracks that start from the picnic ground which take you through the native plants and wildlife.
